Day 1 - Arrival in Hanoi, Vietnam. Enjoy water puppet show if time permits
Day 2 - City tour around Hanoi. Visit Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam (the Temple of Literature),
visit Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, But Tower, Dai Nghien, and the Huc Bridge, as
well as traversing the ‘36 meandering streets’ of Hanoi’s historic Old Quarter.
Day 3 - Visit Phu Nghi Pagoda in Hanoi. In the afternoon, attend the blessing by Rinpoche in
a local family.
Day 4 - Visit Trang An and Bai Dinh Pagoda in Ninh Binh. Attend meditation and Buddhism
teaching class by Rinpoche.
Day 5 - Explore more of Hanoi city. Visit the historical Ho Chi Minh Museum and Hoa Lo
Prison Museum.
Day 6 - Visit Sapa. Immerse in the scenic highlands of Sapa. Visit Sapa Market.
Day 7 - Half day city tour of Sapa. Attend meditation and teaching class in the morning. In
the afternoon, we will visit Fansipan Mountain and explore Cat Cat Village.
Day 8 - Back to Hanoi. Today is a free and easy day.
Day 9 - Visit Perfume Pagoda. Meditation in the cave under Rinpoche’s instruction.

Journey through Hanoi, the ancient town in Vietnam, Sapa and Ninh Binh with His Eminence Khedrupchen Rinpoche and learn how you can apply compassion to managing your business and life.

This tour is specially crafted for those who want to seek a deeper understanding of the meaning of life and journey inward.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival

Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport and our private airport transfer will take you to hotel for checking in. 

You will enjoy a water puppet show, a traditional Vietnamese art form if you have enough time. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2 – Hanoi City Tour and Teaching Class

After breakfast at hotel, you will enjoy city tour around Hanoi.

With ochre-colored colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards, and scenic lakes, Hanoi is a capital city brimming with charm. Visit some of the city’s most renowned heritage sites, such as Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam (the Temple of Literature), the first Imperial school in Vietnam, built in 1070 during the dynasty of King Ly.

The history of Hanoi dates back for over one thousand years and boasts different cultural characteristics to other Vietnamese regions. Along the tour, you’ll also get the chance to discover why by visiting many important landmarks including Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, But Tower, Dai Nghien, and the Huc Bridge, as well as traversing the ‘36 meandering streets’ of Hanoi’s historic Old Quarter to get a taste of the city's bustling local life. Exploring Honoi this way with the help of your expert local guide will help make your visit to Vietnam a memorable one.

In late afternoon, you will attend the meditation and teaching class provided by the Rinpoche in private area.

Day 3 – Visit Phu Nghi Pagoda

After breakfast at hotel, you will visit Phu Nghi Pagoda.

Phu Nghi Pagoda is a part of Thien Vien Truc Lam Tay Thien Complex.

Thien Vien Truc Lam Tay Thien is a prominent Buddhist monastery located in Vinh Phuc Province, Vietnam.

Nestled amid the lush greenery of the Tam Dao mountain range, the monastery provides a tranquil and scenic retreat for spiritual seekers and visitors alike. Established with the aim of promoting Zen Buddhism, Thien Vien Truc Lam Tay Thien offers a serene environment for meditation and reflection. The monastery's architecture is characterized by traditional Vietnamese design, featuring intricate pagodas, meditation halls, and beautifully landscaped gardens.

After the tour, you will enjoy your free time in the afternoon or you can attend the blessing by the Rinpoche in local family.

Day 4 – Ninh Binh – Trang An

After breakfast at hotel, you will visit Trang An and Bai Dinh Pagoda in Ninh Binh.

Trang An is a scenic landscape located in Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam, renowned for its breathtaking karst formations, limestone caves, and serene waterways. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Trang An offers visitors a unique experience as they navigate through the complex network of water passages by traditional rowboats. The natural beauty of Trang An is complemented by its rich biodiversity, cultural relics, and historic temples, creating a harmonious blend of nature and spirituality. Visitors can explore the caves adorned with stalactites and stalagmites, appreciate the tranquility of the surrounding landscape, and visit temples and pagodas that dot the area.

After lunch, you will visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, situated in Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam, that is one of the largest and most significant Buddhist complexes in Southeast Asia. Bai Dinh Pagoda is known for its grandeur and scale, with numerous large statues, intricate carvings, and expansive courtyards. The complex includes the massive Tam The Hall, dedicated to the Three Jewels of Buddhism, as well as the gigantic bronze statue of Buddha, standing at over 30 meters in height.

Meditation and Buddhism teaching class will be provided appropriately by the Rinpoche.

Day 5 – Discover Hanoi City

Day 5 – Discover Hanoi City

After breakfast at hotel, you will have a chance to discover more city tour around Hanoi by yourself or you are able to take the city tour.

Start your day with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Museum, dedicated to the life and achievements of Vietnam's revolutionary leader and Explore the exhibits, artifacts, and photographs that showcase Ho Chi Minh's role in shaping the nation's history. Adjacent to the museum, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where you can view the preserved body of Ho Chi Minh

After lunch, Visit the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, also known as the "Hanoi Hilton," to learn about its historical significance during the French colonial period and the Vietnam War. Head to the Hanoi Citadel, also known as Hoang Thanh Thang Long. Explore the ancient walls, gates, and archaeological sites within this historical complex.

Day 6 – Visit Sapa

After breakfast at hotel, you will take a drive to Sapa, It will take you 5,5 hours.

Nestled in the northern highlands of Vietnam, Sapa is a captivating town renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and vibrant cultural tapestry. Surrounded by terraced rice fields that cascade down the mountainsides, Sapa offers a stunning panorama of mist-shrouded peaks and lush green valleys. This charming destination is a haven for trekking enthusiasts, providing opportunities to explore ethnic minority villages, each with its own unique traditions and colorful attire. Visitors can embark on trails that wind through picturesque hillsides, encountering the warm hospitality of the Hmong, Red Dao, and other local communities.

After lunch at local restaurant, you will Visit Sapa Market to experience the bustling local atmosphere. The market is a vibrant hub where ethnic minorities come to sell their goods, including traditional handicrafts, textiles, and fresh produce.

Day 7 – Half Day City Tour in Sapa

After breakfast at the hotel, you will attend meditation section and short teaching class by the Rinpoche

After that, you will visit Fansipan Mountain, the highest peak in Indochina. You can reach the summit by trekking or taking the cable car for panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. 

After lunch, Explore Cat Cat Village, located just a short walk from Sapa town. This traditional Hmong village offers insights into the daily life of the ethnic communities, showcasing their customs, clothing, and crafts. You will also visit small pagoda in the complex.

Day 8 – Return to Hanoi

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred back to Hanoi.

After lunch, you are able to enjoy your free time in Hanoi.

Day 9 – Visit Perfume Pagoda

Day  9  – Visit Perfume Pagoda

You will depart to visit Perfume Pagoda in early morning and will have breakfast in the pagoda area.

The Perfume Pagoda, or Huong Tich Pagoda, is a renowned pilgrimage site located in the Huong Son Commune, My Duc District, Hanoi, Vietnam. Nestled amidst karst limestone formations, this sacred complex is a significant religious and cultural destination.

Accessible by a scenic boat trip along the Yen Stream and a subsequent hike, visitors traverse through picturesque landscapes to reach the entrance of the Perfume Pagoda. The main temple, Huong Tich, is situated within a cave and houses a sacred stalactite believed to resemble the goddess Quan Am (Avalokiteshvara). The Perfume Pagoda is a focal point for annual festivals, particularly the Perfume Pagoda Festival, attracting pilgrims and tourists alike. The journey to the Perfume Pagoda not only offers spiritual experiences but also showcases the natural beauty of the region, making it a unique and revered destination in Vietnamese culture.

You will have a chance to do meditation in the cave under Rinpoche’s instruction. It is such an unforgettable activity of the trip.

After late lunch, you will be transferred back to Hanoi.
