Travel inland towards Kitulgala, Sri Lanka's adventure capital, surrounded by tropical rainforest and rushing rivers.
For those seeking excitement, optional activities include white-water rafting through Grade 2 and 3 rapids, canyoning across natural rock pools and a thrilling zipline above the forest canopy. Afterwards, cool off with a refreshing river bath before continuing into the cool mountain landscapes of Nuwara Eliya.
Along the way, stop at a tea plantation and factory to discover how Sri Lanka's world-famous Ceylon Tea is cultivated and produced.

Leave before sunrise to explore Horton Plains National Park, one of Sri Lanka's most remarkable natural landscapes.
Walk through misty grasslands and cloud forests before reaching the dramatic cliffs of World's End, where the escarpment plunges nearly 900 metres into the valleys below. Continue to Baker's Falls before returning to your vehicle.
Later, travel to Ella, stopping at the famous Nine Arch Bridge before setting out on the gentle hike to Little Adam's Peak. As evening approaches, panoramic views across the Ella Gap provide one of the finest sunsets in Sri Lanka.

For those wanting an adrenaline rush, experience the Flying Ravana Zipline, soaring high above the surrounding forests, or enjoy an exciting ATV ride through rugged countryside. Later, visit Ravana Falls, where cascading waters tumble through lush jungle scenery.

Begin the day with a short but memorable train journey between Demodara and Ella, offering another chance to experience Sri Lanka's celebrated hill country railway.
Continue south towards Yala National Park, where changing landscapes gradually give way to dry forests and open plains.
In the afternoon, embark on an exciting jeep safari through Yala National Park. Home to elephants, crocodiles, sloth bears and one of the world's highest densities of leopards, every safari offers a unique wildlife experience.
