Following the Paro Chhu River, the trail winds through pine forests, traditional farmhouses, and small settlements before entering the protected wilderness of Jigme Dorji National Park. The gradual ascent allows time to settle into the rhythm of the trek while enjoying beautiful river scenery and pristine mountain landscapes.
