After breakfast, the journey continues into Botswana — making your first stop at the Victoria Falls

where wild elephants come to drink — just metres from your accommodation. Enjoy an evening bush walk around the property as day gives way to an extraordinary African night.

Wake to the sounds of the bush and enjoy breakfast — you may have elephants for company at the waterhole! Today is a travel day as the group heads south-west through the Chobe Forest Reserve toward Maun, the gateway town to the Okavango Delta.
Take in the changing landscapes of Botswana from the window and arrive in Maun in time to relax before dinner.

Today you leave the town behind and venture into the extraordinary Okavango Delta — the world largest inland delta and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Journey by road and boat to your camp at the famous Panhandle region, where the Delta’s channels are at their widest and most dramatic.
On arrival at Guma Lagoon, settle into camp and take in the incredible wilderness surroundings. Hippos, crocodiles, and a spectacular diversity of birdlife are your neighbours for the next two nights.

A full day of pure Delta immersion awaits. This morning, climb into a mokoro — the traditional dugout canoe used by the Bayei people for centuries — and glide in near-silence through papyrus- lined channels, lily-covered lagoons, and crystal-clear waterways. Your expert poler will navigate the intricate waterways, pointing out wildlife and sharing knowledge of this extraordinary ecosystem.
In the afternoon, join a guided nature walk on one of the Delta’s countless islands, where you may encounter elephants, buffalo, and rare bird species on foot.

Bid farewell to the Delta and travel north-east through the Mahango Game Reserve into the Caprivi Strip of Namibia — a narrow panhandle of land sandwiched between Botswana, Angola, and Zambia. Cross the scenic Okavango River as you go, taking in the rich birdlife and floodplain vistas that make this one of Africa most diverse wildlife corridors.

Rise before dawn for an exhilarating open-vehicle game drive through the heart of Chobe National Park. With over 120,000 elephants, along with lions, leopards, wild dogs, hippos, and hundreds of bird species, the park delivers some of the most spectacular wildlife encounters in Africa. Return to the lodge for brunch, then this afternoon enjoy an optional sunset cruise on the Chobe River — drifting along at golden hour while elephants wade across, hippos yawn, and crocodiles bask along the sandy banks.

June to October offers the best wildlife viewing during the dry season. The Okavango Delta's annual floodwaters are typically at their highest between May and August.
