Arrive at Paro International Airport, where your guide will warmly welcome you to Bhutan.
Begin your journey with a scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital city. Along the way, enjoy views of river valleys, forested hillsides, and traditional Bhutanese villages.
Depending on your arrival time, begin exploring some of Thimphu's cultural landmarks, including the National Memorial Chorten and local attractions that offer a first glimpse into Bhutanese life and traditions.

Travel east towards Punakha via the spectacular Dochula Pass.
At an elevation of over 3,000 metres, the pass offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain range on clear days. Continue into the lush Punakha Valley, known for its warmer climate and fertile landscapes.
Visit the impressive Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan's most important and beautiful fortress monasteries, situated at the meeting point of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Later, visit the Pho Chhu Suspension Bridge and enjoy views across the valley.

Enjoy a relaxed morning in Punakha before returning west towards Paro Valley.
Along the way, take in Bhutan's changing landscapes, from subtropical valleys to pine-covered mountain slopes. Upon arrival in Paro, visit important cultural landmarks such as Paro Rinpung Dzong and the National Museum housed within Ta Dzong.

Perched dramatically on a cliffside approximately 900 metres above the valley floor, this sacred monastery is one of Bhutan's most revered pilgrimage sites. Follow trails through pine forests decorated with prayer flags while learning about the legends and spiritual significance of the monastery.
Take time to enjoy the spectacular views and peaceful surroundings before returning to Paro for a relaxing evening.
